The Village of Romeoville would like to remind residents of thewater conservation ordinance that goes into effect beginning May 10 and lasts until Sept. 10.
DAYS:
Addresses ending in even numbers may water on even number calendar days. Addresses ending in odd numbers may water on oddnumber calendar days.
HOURS: 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
For residents with newly sodded and seeded lawns: A permit to water your lawns for newly sodded and seeded yards can be obtained by contacting the Public Works Department at (815) 886-1870. This permit is valid for 14 days and allows you to water everyday within the permitted hours, and after the 14 days, normal restrictions apply.
