Romeoville Park Parties Start Tonight

Get to know your neighbors (or meet them for the first time) at the village's series of Neighborhood Park Parties.

The ’s Parks and Recreation Department will offer free activities and entertainment at a series of outdoor events geared toward helping residents get to know their local parks.

During the June 1 village board meeting, trustee Sue Micklevitz reminded residents that the parties kick off with the Tuesday, June 7 Neighborhood Park Party at 435 Claire Ave.

Each party is from 6 to 8 p.m. Residents are invited to spend the evening with neighbors, friends, family and the Romeoville Recreation Department at one or more of the events throughout the summer.
