Romeoville Opens Cooling Centers
Rec center, fire station 3 available to those without power.
The Village of Romeoville reminds residents that with extreme weather conditions, cooling centers are available at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Rd., and Fire Station No. 3, 698 Birch Drive.
Anyone who needs a cooling center after 9:30 p.m. is asked to call the Romeoville Police Department at 815-886-2141.
Residents are also asked check on elderly or disabled neighbors.
