Last week, Noak challenged Steve "Mongo" McMichael to a face-to-face debate. While McMichael told Patch his campaign was considering taking part in a debate, he seemed less enthusiastic in an interview with The Herald-News, telling the newspaper, “It would be boring to let him challenge what I have to say ... I’m not interested in listening to him. I’m interested in talking to the people of Romeoville.”
