Village of Romeoville trustees last week voted unanimously to allow a frozen foods company to more than double the size of its Romeoville facility.

Aryzta LLC manufactures and distributes frozen pizzas to retailers under the brand name Great Kitchens.

According to the Times Weekly, the company received approval to build a warehouses that will be 97 feet tall at its highest point.

Several citizens, as well as reps from its South Creek industrial park neighbor Chicago Tube & Iron company, raised concerns over the expansion, but trustees gave the OK for the project to proceed.

The new 188,000-square-foot facility will be built at 20216 Airport Road.
