Road Improvements, Outdoor Dining on Village Agenda for Wednesday

Trustees will also vote on contracts for a new municipal parking area and improvements to Village Park at the May 18 meeting, set for 6 p.m. at village hall.

Romeoville residents looking to dine al fresco could soon have a new option.

Among items on Wednesday’s village board agenda is a special use permit request from owner Steve Lewis, who is seeking to build an outdoor seating area at the Budler Road eatery.

Under the proposal, the area would contain nine or 10 tables that would each seat four diners and would be built along the south wall of the Lakewood Retail Center.
