According to Garrick Grizaffi, Valley View’s assistant superintendent for administrative services, The R.C. Hill site improvement project will include new parking, vehicle drop-off and pick-up lanes, a new playground area, site lighting and various site amenities.

The project will be primarily funded through a $1,000,000 grant by the Village of Romeoville through a Tax Increment Finance (TIF) allocation. Additional funds from the school district will supplement the amount, and will cover village-mandated site lighting, parking lot curbing and islands, Grizzafi said.
