Manley to Host Consumer Fraud, ID Theft Roundtable

Submitted by the Office of State Rep. Natalie Manley:

On Tuesday, July 15 State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, will co-host a Consumer Fraud and Identity Theft Roundtable with Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood), and State Rep. Emily McAsey (D-Lockport) from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Romeoville Branch of the White Oaks Library district, located at 201 W. Normantown Rd. in Romeoville.

“The goal is to inform residents of common financial scams and identity theft that target consumers,” said Manley.  “By bringing all of our resources together, we can inform more people of these issues.  At the end of the presentation everyone will be more knowledgeable about the scams. I appreciate the opportunity to co-host this event with Attorney General Madigan, Senator Bertino-Tarrant, and Representative McAsey.”
