Steve McMichael lost the election to incumbent John Noak Tuesday night, 2,561 votes to 1,657 votes.
McMichael's website took down the "We Won!!!" statement Tuesday afternoon before election results were posted.

The declaration is posted next to an "Election Countdown." It was spotted on the site around 2 p.m.
