Event Aimed at Connecting Employers, Job Seekers

Congresswoman Judy Biggert's office will host its second job fair at the Romeoville Recreation Center.

Job-seekers will get the chance to network and connect with area employers at hosted by Congresswoman Judy Biggert, IL-13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road.

Mayor John Noak said it’s the second time the village has teamed with Biggert to host the event.

“It turned out to be a really good event last year,” he said. “Our goal is to partner with other officials and organizations to try and give a variety of employment events throughout the year.”

Biggert’s office is still looking for employers for the Aug. 29 event. If your company is hiring, visit Biggert’s website to fill out a registration for or call 630-655-2052. Hosting a booth is free for companies that participate in the job fair, according to Biggert’s office.
