Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off, Electronics Recycling

Residents can drop off hazardous household waste and outdated electronics for recycling from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the Spartans’ Square Parking lot near Route 53 and Phelps.

Residents can drop off items for disposal including oil-based paints, solvents, cleaning products, mercury-containing products, lawn and garden chemicals, fertilizers, fluorescent lightbulbs, antifreeze, old gasoline, used oil and more.

Those who plan to attend should check the village website for a complete list of accepted items before heading out. A list of prohibited items, including latex-based paints, fireworks and radioactive material, is also on the site.
