Election Central: Patch Will Begin Rolling Out Election Coverage This Week

March 8 is the last day to register to vote in the April 5 consolidated election.

Starting Wednesday, Romeoville Patch will begin rolling out candidate bios for the race, the election, the contest, and the Lockport Township park district and fire protection district elections.

Check back throughout the week as more candidate surveys are posted, and remember to submit your questions for local candidates by e-mailing shannon.antinori@patch.com.

Romeoville residents can get even more information on the Valley View and village elections during a hosted by the Romeoville Chamber of Commerce at Lukancic Elementary School.

And don’t forget these important dates:

  • March 8: Last day to register to vote or transfer registration
  • March 9: First day for grace period registration and voting
  • March 14: First day for early voting
  • March 29: Last day for grace period registration and voting
  • March 31: Last day for early voting
