Will County DUI Arrests: May 5

Check out who's been charged with driving under the influence this week.


Joliet

April 28: Salvador Ramirez, 38, of the 100 block of Webster, Joliet, was arrested at Collins and Meeker and charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on a revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

April 27: Xavier Olvera, 23, of the 300 block of Hebbard, Joliet, was arrested at Briggs and Cass streets and charged with DUI, driving an uninsured vehicle and violating a traffic signal, police said.

April 16: Silvia Reyna-Luna, 41, of the 1700 block of Arbor Lane, Crest Hill, was arrested at Plainfield and Theodore streets on charges of DUI, driving on a suspended license and improper lane use, police said.

April 16: Demetra S. Whisenant, 45, of the 19000b lock of Raymond Drive, Elwood, was arrested at Cass and Collins streets on charges of DUI and speeding, police said.

Plainfield

April 27: Nicholas Zizzo, 33, of the 400 block of Earl Avenue, Joliet, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Lockport Street and Route 59 and charged with DUI, improper lane use, driving an uninsured vehicle and traffic signal violation, police said.

April 26: Lisa Gutierrez, 27, of the 27000 block of Drake Drive, Channahon, was arrested at 12:37 a.m. at Des Plaines and Ottawa Streets and charged with DUI, failure to yield and equipment violations, police said.

April 12: Stephanie May, 24, of the 900 block of W. Haven Avenue, New Lenox, was arrested at 5:42 a.m. at Joliet Street and Route 59 and charged with DUI, following too closely and driving without a valid registration, according to police.

April 5: Ariel Diaz, 25, of the 24000 block of Newkirk, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. at Lily Cache Lane and Lincoln Highway and charged with DUI, improper lane use and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.
