Will County DUI Arrests: March 31

Check out who's been charged with driving under the influence this week.

Joliet

March 27: Jose Bravo, 25, of the 1400 block of Sterling, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license, police said. Bravo was also placed on Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) hold, according to jail records.

March 25: Jaime Mejia, 31, of the 800 block of Penfield, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to secure new registration, police said.

March 25: Jose S. Hernandez-Tejeda, 32, of the 1900 block of Washington Street, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on charged of aggravated DUI, DUI, driving without a license and improper lane use.

March 24: Alberto Ramirez, 37, of the 900 block of Edgerton, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI, driving without a license, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving on the left, police said. 

March 23: Fernando Hernandez, 47, of the 900 block of Oakland, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI, improper traffic lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said.

Bolingbrook

March 27: Gabriel Garcia, 18, of the 500 block of Cumberland, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of DUI, driving on a suspended license failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

March 26: Donald F. Steinhaus, 37, of the 0-100 block of Fernwood, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of DUI, knowingly damaging property, driving 1-10 mph over the limit, improper lane use, making an improper turn at an intersection and resisting a peace officer, police said.

March 16: Rebecca Haney, 36, of the 400 block of Independence Lane was arrested at 11:36 p.m. and charged with DUI, speeding, improper lane use, failure to report an accident and no insurance, police said.

March 16: Michael Defranscesco, 32, of the 300 block of Robinhood Court, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. at Robinhood Way and Route 53 and charged with DUI, violating a traffic signal and improper lighting, according to police.

Plainfield

March 28: Allison M. Cisneros, 35, of the 21000 block of Franklin Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI, obstructing justice/destroying evidence, unsafe equipment and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to jail records.
