Will County DUI Arrests: Aug. 17

A look at who has been charged with driving under the influence around the county.

Joliet

Aug. 11 Myron K. Washington, 23, 1016 Parkwood, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, blood alcohol content of .08, improper traffic lane usage and following too closely. 

Aug. 11 Justin C. Simpson, 31, 263 Nicholson, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed.


Aug. 12 Miguel A. Martinez, 24, 708 Cayuga, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, blood alcohol content over .08, resisting a peace officer, driving on a suspended license and speeding 31 to 39 mph over the limit.

Aug. 15 David L. Kellner, 52, 1517 Sugar Ford Way, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Plainfield


Aug. 13 John Erickson, 67, of the 700 block of Flint Court in Romeoville was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:49 p.m. at Fort Beggs Drive and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer and improper lane use, police said. 

Aug. 10 Justin M. Sherman, 23, of the 13000 block of Taylor Street, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating wipers without headlights, improper lane use, driving 26-30 mph over the limit, disregarding a traffic-control device and aggravated fleeing, police said. Bond was set at $35,000.

Channahon

Aug. 11 Rick J. Devine, 31, Manhattan, was arrested by Channahon police for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to signal when required.
