Two teenage girls wearing ski masks waited outside a Plainfield gas station for a former friend, then attacked her as she attempted to get into her car, police said.

Sgt. Mike Fisher said the victim, also a teenage girl, was coming out of the Citgo gas station at 15809 S. Route 59 at about 9:42 p.m. Saturday when the attack happened.

"The girl came out of the gas station and as she walked to her car, two girls in ski masks came around the side of her car and proceeded to put a beating on her," Fisher said. They also stole her purse, which contained a small amount of cash and makeup, he said.

Fisher said the victim had "previous dealings" with the two attackers, saying the three girls used to be friends. Although the attackers were wearing ski masks, Fisher said the victim recognized their voices.

Following the attack, which left the victim with minor injuries, the two girls got into a car and left, police said. Plainfield police put out a message with the Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network (ISPERN) with a description of the vehicle, which was stopped by Illinois State Police on Route 30 east of the Louis Joliet Mall.

Plainfield police arrested alleged attacker Jordan N. Edgar, 19, of the 0-100 block of Rockledge in Romeoville, who was booked into the Will County jail on charges of robbery, mob action and battery. A second attacker, a juvenile, was also arrested on the same charges, Fisher said.

A third alleged co-conspirator, Jamie Lugo, 19, of the 1400 block of Baltz Court in Joliet, is accused of driving the getaway car following the attack, according to police.

Lugo is also charged with robbery, mob action and battery, as well as violating an order of protection, Fisher said. According to Will County court records, his alleged co-conspirator, Jordan Edgar, was granted an emergency order of protection against him in February. Three other plaintiffs are also listed with Edgar on the order, according to court records.
