Romeoville Police arrested two adults and a juvenile in connection with the armed robbery of a pizza delivery woman Tuesday.
Rene Ramos, 19, of Romeoville, and Deon Brown, 21, were taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery, said Deputy Chief Steven Lucchesi.
"The juvenile's involvement is still under investigation," Lucchesi said.
The weapon involved is believed to be a pellet gun and has not been recovered.
Ramos was out on parole at the time of the alleged incident. An additional warrant was issued for his arrest for parole violation as a result of this incident, Lucchesi said.
Romeoville police detectives went back to the area of the crime Wednesday. It had occurred on Dunbridge Lane in the Honeytree Subdivision just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
While police were investigating the area, they came across Ramos, Brown and the juvenile and questioned them.
"During the initial stop, (police) obtained information as to (the suspects') involvement," Lucchesi said.
At the time of the incident, the victim sustained minor injuries that did not require any medical attention, he said.
