Romeoville Police Blotter: Pot Possession, Underage Drinking, DUI

Arrests reported by Romeoville police, May 31-June 10.

May 31


Steven Corbo, 20, of the 700 block of Belmont, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. in the 800 block of Oakton and charged with criminal damage to property, police said.

June 2


Augustina Spillone, 22, of the 1700 block of Sierra Highlands Court, Plainfield, was arrested by Romeoville police at 12:57 a.m. in the 700 block of Hillcrest Drive on an in-state warrant, police said.

Jessica Snow, 37, of the 2000 block of Essex Court in Crest Hill was arrested at 3:54 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, according to police.

Ciara Banks, 20, of the 300 block of Bluff Street, Joliet, was arrested at 4:21 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft and resisting an officer, police said.

June 4


A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested at 3:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Murphy Drive on a battery charge, police said.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 3:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Highpoint Drive and charged with criminal trespassing, police said.

A 17-year-old was arrested at 7:09 p.m. in the area of Taylor and Troxel and charged with speeding, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

June 6


Three teens were arrested at 12:24 a.m. in the area of Route 53 and Normantown Road. A 17-year-old was charged with possession of drug equipment, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and curfew violation. A 16-year-old was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and curfew violation. Another 17-year-old was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and curfew violation, police said.

Patrick Reed, 20, of the 1600 block of Peter Lane in Romeoville was arrested at 10:07 a.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with theft over $500 and possession of cannabis, according to police.

Edward Adkins, 24, of the 1800 block of Winding Ridge Court in Romeoville was arrested at 10:16 a.m. in the 1800 block of Winding Ridge Court and charged with criminal damage to property, police said.

Kerry Allen, 62, of the 0-100 block of Arlington Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. in the 1000 block of Romeo Road on an in-state warrant, police said.

June 7

A 16-year-old junvile was arrested at 12:17 a.m. in the area of Taylor Road and Tahoe and charged with illegal possession of alcohol and curfew violation, according to police.

Gilberto Rosado, 19, of the 0-100 block of Sonoma Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. at Taylor Road and Tahoe and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol, police said.

Danielle Hatley, 19, of the 14000 block of Weller Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Romeoville police at 6:07 a.m. on Normantown Road east of Weber Road and charged with possession of cannabis, driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic sign, police said.

June 8


Cassandra Igyarto, 31, of the 1000 block of Shagbark, New Lenox, was arrested at 2:41 a.m. on Renwick Road west of Route 53 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

June 9


James Smith, 46, of the 500 block of Princeton Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. in the 500 block of Belmont Drive on an in-state warrant, police said.

June 10


Jonathan Szczyrk, 26, of the 600 block of Belmont in Romeoville was arrested at 5:30 p.m. at Belmont and Avalon on an in-state warrant, according to police.
