Romeoville Police Blotter: Man Charged with DUI, Driving 40 Miles Over the Limit

Arrests reported by Romeoville police, Feb. 23-March 13.

Feb. 23

Alfredo Casas, 26, of the 900 block of Savannah Drive, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police at 2:06 a.m. at Murphy and Savannah drives and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a stop sigh, police said.

Feb. 24

Lee Dougherty, 29, of the 700 block of Stonebridge, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Romeoville police at 2:16 a.m. at Weber Road and I-55 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Feb. 27

Kevin Crosby, 24, of the 2400 block of Grape Street, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police at 1:29 p.m. at Normantown and Weber roads and charged with possession of drug equipment and driving on a suspended license, police said.

March 6

Alicia Ortiz, 39, of the 200 block of Emery Street, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police at 5:34 p.m. at a business in the 200 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Chaleeta Terry, 21, of the 200 block of Sioux Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Romeoville police at 8:54 p.m. at Route 53 and University Parkway and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper lane use, police said.

March 7

Somora Dyson, 28, of the 100 block of Seeser Street, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police at 4:24 p.m. on an in-state warrant and charges of driving with an expired registration and no license, according to police.

James A. Love, 28, of the 400 block of Garland, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police at 2:23 a.m. at Route 53 and Renwick Road and charged with possession of cannabis, driving on a suspended license and driving without lights, police said.

March 10

Daniel Delarosa, 39, of the 1700 block of Washington Street, Lockport, was arrested by Romeoville police at 11:22 p.m. in the 100 block of Birch Lane and charged with battery, according to police.

March 13

Monico Favela, 39, of the 100 block of Wedgeport, Romeoville, was remanded into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding more than 40 miles over the limit, improper traffic lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to jail records.
