Romeoville Police Blotter: Man Charged with DUI, Aggravated Battery of Officer

July 18


Matthew Ruiz, 17, of the 400 block of Maggie Lane, Romeoville, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and charged with aggravated assault, according to jail records.

July 20


Erin Holloway, 29, of the 200 block of Marquette Street, Ottawa, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with possession of heroin, police said.

Robert D. Lacourse, 36, of the 200 block of Marquette Street, Ottawa, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with possession of a controlled substance, disregarding a stop sign, improper turning, driving on a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle and a seat belt violation, police said.

Eli Lemrise, 39, of the Oglesby, Illinois, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and seat belt violation, according to booking records.

July 21


Ezequiel Baerga, 30, of the 400 block of Herkimer, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of aggravated battery of a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, driving under the influence and driving 31-39 mph over the speed limit, according to jail records.
