Romeoville Police Blotter: Graffiti on Fence, Playground Equipment, Stolen AC Unit

Incidents reported by Romeoville police, May 2-4.

May 2

A property preservation manager reported a theft at 12:46 p.m. An air conditioner unit was stolen by someone from a house in the 200 block of Key Largo Drive. The estimated cost of the unit is $300.

A resident of the 600 block of Nelson reported a criminal damage to property at 10:21 a.m. A fence was damaged when someone spray painted graffiti on it.

A black marker and spray paint was used to damage playground equipment in the 300 block of Arlington at 10:54 a.m.  It is unknown at this time who damaged the property.

May 4 

A resident of the 1800 block of Lake Shore Drive reported a theft of motor vehicle accessories at 6:50 p.m. Vehicle ground effects were stolen from a resident’s car. The estimated value of the parts is $250.
