Romeoville Police Blotter: DUI, Marijuana, Hit and Run

Arrests reported by Romeoville police, April 19-30.

April 19 

Kenneth Forsberg Jr., 30, of 322 Hickory Ave., was arrested at 2:07 a.m. and charged with DUI and hit and run in the 600 block of Belmont Avenue, police said. 

Alexander Elizzar, 27, of 27 Belmont Dr., was arrested at 11:16 p.m. and charged with DUI and reckless driving in the 300 block of Georgetown, police said.

April 21 

Edgar Trujillo, 20, of 320 Fairfax, was arrested at 3:16 a.m. and charged with DUI and speeding at the intersection of Route 53 and Chambers, police said.

April 27          

Ramon Aguirre, 23, of 24365 W. Renwick Rd. in Plainfield, was arrested at 4:53 p.m. and charged with retail theft in the 24300 block of Renwick Road, police said. 

A 16- and 17-year-old juvenile were arrested at 6:47 p.m. and charged with obstructing an officer, police said. A 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested and charged with possession of tobacco and attempted obstruction of an officer in the 1400 block of Mountain Laurel Court.

Donatas Bruzga, 24, of 218 Murphy Dr., was arrested at 10:16 p.m. and charged with DUI in the 300 block of N. Independence, police said. 

April 30  

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 7:28 p.m. and charged with possession of cannabis in the area of Belmont and Kingston, police said. 

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 8:22 p.m. and charged with battery in the area of Hemlock and Murphy Drive, police said.
