Romeoville Blotter: Shattered Windows, Car Burglary, Playground Vandalized

Someone entered a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 0-100 block of Arlington and stole prescription medication, a GPS unit, an I-Pass and a checkbook, worth an estimated total of $259, police said.

An unknown person or persons cracked a Plexiglass bubble that is part of playground equipment in the 1700 block of Weslake Parkway, police said. Estimated damage is $200.

The rear windows of two vehicles parked in the 1100 block of Crossroads Parkway were shattered by an unknown person, police said, causing damage of $1,000.
