Romeoville Blotter: DUI, Public Fighting Arrests

Sept. 23

Brian Herbst, 52, of the 15000 block of Michael Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. at Weber Road and Grand Haven Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Oct. 2

Gynerman Gaytan, 21, of the 1100 block of Loren Drive, Joliet, was arrested at 2:38 p.m. in the 14000 block of Normantown Road on an in-state warrant, police said.

Mark Spiewak, 51, of the 300 block of Karen, Romeoville, was arrested in the 300 block of Karen and charged with battery, police said.

Roger Griffin, 21, of the 0-100 block of Bradford Road, Joliet, and Jonte Quinn, 22, of the 1100 block of Grand Boulevard in Romeoville, were arrested at 8:26 p.m. in the 500 block of Easton Lane and charged with public fighting, police said.

William Hartman, 28, of the 500 block of Montrose Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 10:07 p.m. in the 500 block of Montrose Drive on an in-state warrant, police said.

Oct. 4

Marcella Lopez, 28, of the 2300 block of Gaylord in Crest Hill was arrested at 2:17 p.m. at a business in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Octavio Montes, 31, of the 200 block of Charleston, Romeoville, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. at 135th Street and Homer Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license, according to police.

Janet Neubeck, 38, of the 1800 block of Wentworth Circle, Romeoville, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. at a business in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Oct. 6

Jose Renteria, 42, of the 100 block of Farm Gate in Bolingbrook was arrested at 10:23 p.m. at Route 53 and Belmont Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, failure to signal, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to police.

Oct. 8

Carlos Jara, 21, of the 20000 block of Barrington Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 10:47 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber Road and charged with battery, according to police.

Sherry Mohr, 42, of the 100 block of Wallace Street in Joliet, and Destiny Reyes-Yates, 24, of the 300 block of Water Street, Joliet, were arrested at 1:35 p.m. at a business in the 200 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.
