Romeoville Blotter: Burglar Spray-Paints Graffiti Inside House

July 22
Someone stole 25 feet of brass pipe from a residence in the 1900 block of Cobblestone, police said. The pipe's estimated value is $20.
July 30
An unknown person damaged the interior of a home in the 100 block of Sedgewicke by spray-painting graffiti inside the house, police said. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $600.
Aug. 2
Someone shattered the rear window of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home
in the 0-100 block of Abbeywood with an unknown object, causing $200 in damage, police said.
Aug. 5
Someone used a BB or pellet gun to shatter the window of a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 200 block of Charleston Avenue, causing $375 in damage, police said.
Aug. 6
A truck trailer and semi-trailer worth a total of $32,000 were stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Lakeview Drive, police said.
