Cars, Buildings Defaced by Paint; Tires Damaged

The following property crimes were reported to the Romeoville Police Department:

Several DVDs, valued at a total of $90, taken from a business in the 400 block of Weber Road. Report made at about 3 p.m. Nov. 3.

A sharp object was used to damage two tires of a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 2000 block of Kentland. Damage estimated at $300; report made at about 8:15 a.m. Nov. 9.

A sharp object was used to damage a tire on a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 600 block of Jordan. Damage estimated at $150; report made at about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 10.

Spray paint was used to damage the siding and garage of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Belmont. Damage estimated at $700; report made at about 10:40 a.m. Nov. 10.

Spray paint was used to damage the garage door of a business in the 400 block of Independence Boulevard. Damage estimated at $100; report made at about 11:50 a.m. Nov. 10.

Several tools, jewelry and miscellaneous items, valued at a total of $900, taken from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of Belmont. Report made at about 9:10 a.m. Nov. 10.

Spray paint was used to deface a front window of a residence in the 200 block of Gordon Avenue. Damage estimated at $200; report made at about 10:50 a.m. Nov. 10.

A power saw and car stereo, valued at a total of $350, taken from a locked shed in the 300 block of Fremont. Report made at about 7:20 a.m. Nov. 11.

Twenty propane tanks, valued at a total of $1,000, taken from a parking lot storage area of a business in the 800 block of Crossroads Parkway. Report made at about 1:20 p.m. Nov. 11.

A truck filled its tank with $855 in fuel at a business in the 1300 block of Normantown Road and then left without paying. Report made at about 3:55 p.m. Nov. 9.

Spray paint was used to damage a wooden fence alongside a residence in the 300 block of Eaton. Damage estimated at $50; report made at about 11 a.m. Nov. 10.

A spray pump, hose, taping knives and several tools, valued at a total of $5,200, taken from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Essex. Report made at about 2:05 p.m. Nov. 12.

Several propane tanks, valued at a total of $400, taken from a parking lot storage area of a business in the 1100 block of Crossroads Parkway. Report made at about 10:35 a.m. Nov. 12.

A landscape rock was used to damage a window of a business in the 300 block of Independence Boulevard. Damage estimated at $500; report made at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 13.

Spray paint was used to damage a concrete culvert of a bike path at the Arlington extension. Damage estimated at $50; report made at about 11:15 a.m. Nov. 14.

A purse left behind at a business in the 1100 block of Independence Boulevard was reported taken. Value estimated at $350; report made at about 10:30 a.m. Nov. 14.

A debit card was taken from a vehicle parked at a business in the 1500 block of Normantown Road. About $400 in charges were made; report filed at about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15.

A 78 AR Parrot Drone 2.0 and a 7 Parrot MKi9100 Bluetooth music kit were taken from a business warehouse in the 800 block of Crossroads Parkway. Value estimated at $24,800; report made at about 11:30 a.m. Nov. 16.

Several bottles of alcohol, valued at $88, taken from a business in the 400 block of Weber Road by an unknown perons who stored them in his coat. Report made at about 9:10 p.m. Nov. 16.

Paint was used to damage an Illinois registration plate on the rear of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1500 block of Baytree Drive. Damage estimated at $25; report made at about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 18.
