Property Crimes: Propane Tanks, Medicine, Semitrailer Reported Stolen

Romeoville police also report a brick being thrown through a window and two other cases of vandalism.

The following property crime reports were filed with the Romeoville Police Department:

A box truck received $800 in damage after being taken from a business parking lot in the 800 block of Independence Boulevard and recovered in the 2600 block of 135th Street. Report filed at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 10.

CDs, a CD case and prescription medicine, valued at a total of $710, taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 300 block of Healy. Report made at 11:42 a.m. Jan. 12.

A carton was damaged and several seals were broken off trailers parked in the parking lot of a business in the 100 block of Anton Drive. Damage estimated at $5; report made at 9:46 a.m. Jan. 14.

Several propane tanks valued at $3,100 taken from a storage unit of a business in the 700 block of Theodore. Report made at 10:57 a.m. Jan. 14.

An empty semitrailer valued at $15,000 taken from the parking lot of a business in the 800 block of Crossroads Parkway. Report made at 3:11 p.m. Jan. 16.

A brick was thrown through the front window of a residence in the 300 block of Hickory. Damage estimated at $200; report made at 9:12 a.m. Jan. 18.
