Property Crimes: iPhone, Jewelry, Cash, Hunting Gear Taken

There were also acts of vandalism reported to the Romeoville police, including a smashed sliding glass door and a spray-painted shed

The Romeoville Police Department took these property crime reports:

An iPhone valued at $500 was taken Nov. 10 from a business in the 700 block of Center when a customer left it on a table while playing a game.

Jewelry valued at $2,000 was taken Nov. 13 from a home in the 0 to 100 block of Abbeywood. Suspect broke a window to enter the house.

Three spare tires and rims, valued at a total of $300, were taken Nov. 16 from cars parked at a business in the 1300 block of Marquette Drive.

A duffel bag containing numerous hunting items, valued at a total of $1,500, taken Nov. 18 from a garage in the 1600 block of Belmont Drive.

A bicycle left in a bike rack, valued at $90, taken Nov. 18 from a business in the 200 block of Normantown.

A Pace American trailer, valued at $1,400, taken Nov. 19 from in front of a home in the 22000 block of Taylor Road.

A backpack containing a computer, video camera and prescription medication, valued at a total $420, taken Nov. 19 from a car belonging to someone visiting a residence in the 400 block of Camden.

Spray paint was used Nov. 20 to damage a shed in the back yard of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Honeybear. Damage estimated at $100.

An unknown item was used Nov. 24 to smash a sliding glass window on the back of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Harmony Lane. Damage estimated at $300.

A generator valued at $200 and left outside unattended was taken Nov. 24 from a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive.

A computer valued at $250 was taken Nov. 25 from a residence in the 2000 block of Wheatfield.

The contents of a safe, totaling $1,633, taken Nov. 25 from the 400 block of Weber Road.

Welding items valued at $510 taken Nov. 25 from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Ambassador.

Several Christmas items damaged Dec. 1 by a vehicle that drove on to the front yard of a residence in the 100 block of Wedgeport Circle. Damage estimated at $200.

A candy cane lawn ornament valued at $2.50 damaged Dec. 2 outside a residence in the 400 block of Belmont.
