Property Crimes: iPad Mini, Bikes, xBox, TV, Tools Reported Stolen

Property damage reports include vandalized vehicles and broken windows and doors, police say.

The following property crime reports were taken by the Romeoville Police Department:

Several Christmas decorations in the rear year of a home in the 600 block of Jordan were damaged by a sharp object. Damage estimated at $30; report filed at about 9:20 p.m. Nov. 30.

A sharp object was used in an attempted burglary of a pickup truck parked in the driveway of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Ambassador. A vehicle alarm caused the burglar or burglars to flee. No damage cited; report made at about 11 p.m. Dec. 2.

A spare key and loose change was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1600 block of Fiddyment Drive. Report made at about 11:20 a.m. Dec. 3.

A rock was used to damage a sliding glass door, glass window pane and screen of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Arlington. Damage estimated at about $200; report made at abot 3:45 p.m. Dec. 3.

An xBox 360 and a 32-inch flat-screen television, valued at a total of $500, were taken from a residence in the 2000 block of Wheatfield. Report made at about 9:35 p.m. Dec. 3.

The front door of a residence in the 400 block of Healy was damaged in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entrance to the residence. Damage estimated at $200; report made at about 7:50 p.m. Dec. 4.

An unattended bicycle valued at about $200 and belonging to a person visiting a friend's residence in the 0 to 100 block of Fernwood Court was reported taken at about 7 p.m. Dec. 4.

Pain medication valued at $200 was reported taken from a residence in the 600 block of Edward Drive. Report made at about 2:55 p.m. Dec. 5.

A bicycle valued at $110 was reported taken from an open garage in the 600 block of Poplar. Report made at about 6:10 p.m. Dec. 5.

Several video games and an electric razor, valued at a total of $371.92, were reported taken from a business in the 200 block of South Weber Road. Report made at about 6:50 p.m. Dec. 7.

A sliding door lock was broken and several power tools taken from a vehicle parked in the lot of a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Damage and loss valued at $3,150; report made at about 5:40 p.m. Dec. 8.

An iPad Mini valued at $560 were reported taken from a home in the 400 block of Arnold. It's not known in the residence was locked or unlocked at the time of the burglary. Report made at 3:05 p.m. Dec. 8.

A vehicle was scratched, dented and had its windshield shattered while parked in front of a residence in the 600 block of driftwood. Damage estimated at $1,000. Report made at about 5:50 p.m. Dec. 9.
