Property Crimes: $10,000 Ring, Computers, Tools, Bike Stolen

Several cars, house siding, mailboxes also reported damaged, according to Romeoville Police Department reports.

The following property damage/theft incidents were reported to the Romeoville Police Department:

Siding damaged, possibly by an airsoft gun, to a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Kenilworth Court. Report made at 12:17 p.m. Aug. 10; damage estimated at $100.

Several laptops and a cell phone taken and a company vehicle damaged at a business in the 100 block of Devonwood. Report made at 3:08 p.m. Aug. 17; loss/damage estimated at $5,400.

An unattended bicycle valued at $400 taken from a business in the 200 block of Normantown Road. Report made at 8:05 p.m. Aug. 20.

A catalytic converter valued at $500 taken from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of South Weber Road. Report made at 9:55 a.m. Aug. 21.

Two mailboxes reported damaged in the 900 block of West Savannah. Report made at 8:43 p.m. Aug. 21; damages estimated at $40.

An unknown person broke into a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Snapdragon Court and attempted to take a gaming console. Report made at 6:41 p.m. Aug. 22.

Several tools valued at $2,630 taken from a vehicle parked at a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Report made at 7:32 a.m. Aug. 23.

A laptop computer, accessories and a pair of glasses taken from a vehicle parked at a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Report made at 7:53 a.m. Aug. 23; damage/loss estimated at $1,200.

A ring valued at $10,000 taken from the restroom of a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Report made at 2:16 p.m. Aug. 25.

A bottle of tanning lotion taken from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Haley Meadows. Report made at 6:29 a.m. Aug. 26; damage estimated at $500.
