Police Report Theft of 2 Pickup Trucks on Princeton Drive

Also, police say a door is damaged in residential burglary incident on Ambassador Avenue.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department:

Dec. 4: A residential burglary was reported in the 0-100 block of Ambassador. Unknown person(s) damaged a door of the residence. It appears that nothing was taken from the home. Estimated cost to repair the door is $300. Time: 6:04 p.m.

Dec. 5: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 500 block of Belmont. Unknown person(s) smashed a window of a vehicle that was parked in the street. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $150. Time: 6:40 a.m.

Dec. 7: A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person took several items of clothing from the business. Estimated value of the items taken is $100. Time: 4:18 p.m.

Dec. 9: A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Hemlock. Shoes and a cake decorating kit were removed from an unlocked vehicle by unknown person(s). Estimated value of the items is $200. Time: 1:58 a.m.

Dec. 9: An attempted auto theft was reported in the 500 block of Kathleen. Unknown person(s) attempted to steal a van that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost to repair damage to the van is $350. Time: 4:34 a.m.

Dec. 9: A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 900 block of Princeton. A pickup truck was taken from the driveway of the residence by unknown person(s). Estimated value of the vehicle is $3,000. Time: 6:48 a.m.

Dec. 9: A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 1000 block of Princeton. A pickup truck was taken from the side of the residence by unknown person(s). Estimated value of the vehicle is $1,500. Time: 12:11 p.m.
