Police Report $3,500 in Damage Done to Vehicles on South Independence Blvd.

Also, police say vandals hit building on North Independence with spray painted graffiti.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department:

Oct. 9: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of Hale. Unknown person(s) damaged the windshield trim of a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $50. Time: 5:24 p.m.

Oct. 10: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 200 block of Belmont. Unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the siding of a residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $100. Time: 8:23 a.m.

Oct. 11: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 700 block of North Independence. Unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the door of the building. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $200. Time: 8:22 p.m.

Oct. 12: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 500 block of South Independence. The side mirrors, windshield and fenders were damaged on one vehicle. Another vehicle had the mirrors and fenders damaged. It is unknown who did the damage. Estimated cost of repairs is $3,500. Time 3:20 a.m.

Oct. 12: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of Kent. Unknown person(s) slashed a tire of a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $180. Time: 12:22 p.m.

Oct. 13: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 100 block of Foxglove. Unknown person(s) damaged a window of a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $200. Time: 12:43 p.m.
