Police Blotters: Romeoville Resident Charged with Giving Alcohol to a Minor

March 25

Servando Garza, 53, of the 1400 block of Home Avenue, Berwyn, was arrested at 3:46 a.m. at Weber and Gaskin and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper lane use, police said.

March 26

Patricia Ovalde, 35, of the 400 block of Haller Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:05 p.m. at a business in the 200 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Michael Maniglia, 55, of the 700 block of Rockhurst Road, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. at 135th Street and Route 53 and charged with improper lane use and reckless driving, police said.

Beata Czerwin, 37, of the 1200 block of Santa Fe Road, Romeoville, was arrested at 10:31 p.m. in the 1200 block of Santa Fe Road and charged with delivery of liquor to a minor, police said.

Wayne Gifford, 40, of the 23000 block of Francine Avenue, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police at 1:29 a.m. at Route 53 and Taylor Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated fleeing, driving on a revoked license, driving an uninsured vehicle, disobeying a stop sign, failure to signal, improper lane use, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and resisting officers, according to police.

April 1

Luis Chavez, 20, of the 17000 block of Willard Lane, Lockport, was arrested at 9:23 a.m. at Route 53 and Taylor Road and charged with possession of cannabis and paraphernalia and speeding, police said.

Cristina Hoffman, 30, of the 1400 block of Golden Bell Court, Downers Grove, was arrested at midnight at Route 53 and University Parkway and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis, improper lane use, speeding and following too close, police said.

Allison Byrne, 22, of the 200 block of Coral Reef Court, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. at Belmont and Montrose drives and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic device and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Charles Miller IV, 23, of the 1-100 block of Concord Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. at Belmont and Montrose and charged with obstruction of a peace officer, police said.

Kelly Rolnicki, 28, of the 14000 block of Manassas Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 7 p.m. at Taylor and Budler roads on two in-state warrants and a charge of speeding, police said.

Mitchell King, 28, of the 3900 block of Leominster, Joliet, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. at Weber Road and I-55 and charged with soliciting without a permit, police said.

Colleen McGee, 52, of the 900 block of Ontario, Romeoville, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. at Normantown and Town Hall Drive and on an in-state warrant and charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended licence, according to police.
