Police Blotter: Three Charged with Heroin Possession

Arrests reported by the Romeoville Police Department, other agencies, March 3-5

March 5

DUI arrest

Angelo A. Roman, 27, 612 Sherwood, Romeoville, was arrested by Will County Sheriff’s Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving above the speed limit and improper lane use.

 March 4

Pot possession

Miguel Angel Arreola-Sanchez, 21, 1312 Raynor, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with marijuana possession, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also booked on a Will County warrant, according to reports.

 March 3

Heroin arrests

  • Brandy N. Layne, 20, 203 Montrose Drive, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with manufacture/delivery of 15 or more grams of heroin, according to police reports. Bail was set at $3,000.
  • Joseph A. Doyle, 21, 581 Belmont, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with possession of 30 or more grams of heroin, driving on an expired license and a headlight violation, according to police. Bail was set at $1,500.
  • Curtis Jordan Moses, 21, 721 Delta Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with possession of 30 or more grams of heroin, according to Will County records.

Domestic battery

Miguel A. Robledo, 19, 247 Zinnia, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with aggravated domestic battery, according to Will County records.
