Police Blotter: Suspended License Lands Man in Jail — Twice

Arrests reported by Romeoville Police, July 7-16.

July 7

Double trouble

Christian Frausto, 21, 596 Belmont, Romeoville, was arrested at 135th Street and Weber Road and charged with driving on a suspended license and no front registration. Nearly a week later, on July 13, Frausto was arrested again at Belmont and Taylor and charged a second time with driving on a suspended license, along with speeding, police said.

July 8

No seat belt, no license

Miguel Munoz, 20, 449 Berkshire, Romeoville, was arrested at Belmont and Arnold and charged with failure to wear a seat belt and driving without a license, according to a police report.

July 9

Teen charged with burglary, underage drinking

A 16-year-old was arrested in the 900 block of Biltmore and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, criminal trespass to a vehicle and burglary from a vehicle, police said.

Traffic charges

Simon Olmos, 35, 1419 Dearborn, Joliet, was arrested at Wesglen Parkway and Honeysuckle and charged with driving without a license and disobeying a traffic device, according to records.

July 11

Warrant, traffic charges

Kaitlyn Aimaro, 19, 512 Garnsey Ave., Joliet, was arrested at Crossroads Parkway and Theodore Court and charged with speeding, driving an uninsured vehicle and expired registration. She was also booked on a Will County warrant, police said. 

July 12

No license

  • Jorge Acosta, 32, 1117 Bonner Ave., Aurora, was arrested at airport Road and Richfield Trail and charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding, police said.
  • Nicholas Luberda, 20, 534 Laurel Ave., was arrested in the 200 block of Rocbaar and charged with driving on a suspended license and expired registration, according to records.
July 14

Traffic arrests

  • Estala Perez, 27, 420 Wilshire Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested at Route 53 and Enterprise Drive and charged with driving without a license, failure to secure a child, no insurance and improper display, police said.
  • Christina Allen, 32, 311 Shenandoah, Romeoville, was arrested at Shenandoah and Dogwood Court and charged with driving on a revoked license, improper display and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to a police report.
July 15

Traffic violations

Gerardo Gomez, 37, 148 Malibu, Bolingbrook, was arrested at Route 53 and Ridgewood Avenue and charged with driving without a license, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed, police said.

July 16

DUI arrest

Charles Bacon Jr., 35, 425 Montrose Drive, Romeoville, was arrested in the 700 block of Farragut Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed and improper lane use, according to police.

Traffic arrests

  • William Spaniak, 46, 601 Romeo Road, Romeoville, was arrested in the 300 block of McKool and charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and expired registration, according to a police report.
  • Jennifer Petrone, 44, 504 Kungs Way, Joliet, was arrested at Remington Boulevard and Weber Road and charged with driving on a revoked license, failure to yield, driving an uninsured vehicle and booked on a DuPage County warrant, police said.
