1. Laptop nabbed from car

A customer at an establishment in the 0-99 block of University Drive reported that a laptop worth $450 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle, police said.

2. Window shattered

Someone smashed the window on a steel rear door at a home in the 300 block of Hemlock, causing $100 in damage, police said.

3. Car window broken

A vandal broke a window on a car parked on the street in front of a residence in the 300 block of Hayes, causing $250 in damage, according to police.

4. Car reported stolen

Someone stole a vehicle worth an estimated $18,000 from a driveway in the 1600 block of Richfield Trail, police said.

Sept. 16

5. Graffiti sprayed on garages

A vandal or vandals used spray paint to damage the siding of several garages in the 0-100 block of Freesia, causing damage ranging from $20 to $100, police said.

6. Water heater stolen from vacant home

Someone stole a $900 water heater from a vacant home in the 1900 block of Wheatfield, according to police.
