Beer bottle toss
Someone threw a beer bottle at a car parked at a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive, causing $250 in damage, said.

Stolen car

A thief stole a car worth an estimated $4,000 from a general use parking lot in the 200 block of Highpoint Drive, police said.

Burglar steals laptop
A burglar nabbed a $400 laptop during a residential burglary in the 400 block of Glen Avenue, according to police.

Car burglaries
Someone stole a GPS worth an estimated $100 from a vehicle parked on the street in front of a home in the 400 block of Berkshire, police said.
In another incident, a Chicago Bears hat and the vehicle registration papers were stolen from an unattended vehicle in the 600 block of Belmont, police said. Estimated cost of the items taken is $21.
Property damage
Someone damaged a fence post and gate, causing $500 in repairs, in the 700 block of South Bayles, police said.
March 11
Stolen iPod, smashed windows
A thief or thieves damaged two windows on a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 400 block of Berkshire and stole an iPod Nano. Estimated cost to replace the iPod and repair the windows is $449, police said.
Griffiti artist strikes
Several residents in the 300 block of Fremont reported criminal defacement to property after someone spray-painted graffiti on garage doors, sidewalks and parked vehicles near several homes, police said. Estimated damage ranged from $50 to $250.
Fence damaged
Someone tore several wooden slats from a backyard fence in the 600 block of Murphy Drive, police said, causing $200 in damage.
March 12
Semi-trailer stolen
Someone stole a semi-trailer containing a load of copper-clad aluminum from an unsecured vacant lot in the 500 block of Anderson Drive, police said. The semi-trailer is valued at $25,000, while the aluminum was worth $105,000.
