Police Blotter: Retail Theft & DUI Arrests

Also, police report a 24-year-old Plainfield woman is charged following a traffic incident near the intersection of Route 53 and Taylor Road.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department:

Dec. 14: Benigno Ramos, 39, 619 Benton St., Joliet, was charged with no valid DL at Romeo Road at Independence.

Dec. 15: Jasmine Kelly, 24, 5314 Brindlewood Drive, Plainfield, was charged with DWLS, suspended registration and improper lane use at Route 53 at Taylor Road.

Dec. 16: Guadalupe Lozada, 35, 203 Mountain Laurel Court, Romeoville, was charged with retail theft in the 200 block of South Weber Road.

Dec. 16: Valerie Halek, 35, 714 Arbury Court, Romeoville, was charged with DUI, no insurance and driving too fast for conditions at Elmwood Road at Six Pines.
