Police Blotter: Pot Charges and Retail Arrests

Monday, Feb. 14
Drug arrest
David Lester Simpson, 48, 417 Macon Ave., Romeoville, was arrested by Joliet Police and charged with possessing a controlled substance, according to Will County reports. His bail was set at $24,000.
Jan. 26Traffic offenses
John Bergel, 22, 767 Farragut, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with hit and run, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and reckless driving.

Retail theft
Bradley Peterson, 29, 627 Wild Indigo, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.
Suspended license
Louis Williams, 54, 403 Healy, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lane use, according to reports.

DUI arrest
Joseph Feliciano, 20, 2005 Trafalgar, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed, according to police.
Jan. 21Theft charges
Brittany Herring, 21, 416 Arnold, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.
Pot possession
Matthew Mager, 21, 426 Everette, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with possession of cannabis, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and failure to signal, police said.
Jan. 18Marijuana charges
- Amber Adams, 18, 311 McKool, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to reports.
- Sean Rodriguez, 21, 104 McKool, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to signal, police said.
Obstructing an officer
Julio Galindo, 31, 1314 Prairie Ave., Crest Hill, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with obstructing an officer and no registration light, according to police.
