Police Blotter: Panhandling, Battery, Theft, Reckless Driving Arrests

Arrests made by the Romeoville Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.

Jaime L. Lugo, 18, 2050 Wheatfield, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Feb. 4 on a charge of domestic battery.

Jerele Sharpe, 20, 853 Adler St., Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 12:20 a.m. Jan. 15 at Normantown and Weber roads and charged with no insurance, suspended registration and disobeying a traffic device.

John Baker, 61, homeless, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 3:35 p.m. Jan. 16 at Weber Road and the Interstate 55 ramp and charged with solicitation and panhandling.

Bennie Williams, 55, homeless, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 4:05 p.m. Jan. 16 at Weber Road and the Interstate 55 ramp and charged with solicitation and panhandling.

Ashley Petrie, 19, 1108 Westshire Drive, Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 8:55 a.m. Jan. 18 in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with reckless driving and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Virginia Salazar, 50, 2028 Whitmore Drive, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 2:55 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 400 block of North Weber Road and charged with retail theft.

Juana Serna-Martinez, 33, 1213 Ada St., Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 4:20 a.m. Jan. 19 at Route 53 and Airport Road and charged with no insurance, no driver's license and one tail light.

Aurelia Sostenes-Galindo, 36, 722 Delta Ave., Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 12:10 a.m. Jan. 21 at Route 53 and Normantown Road and charged with no driver's license, no insurance and expired registration.
