Police Blotter: Outstanding Warrants, Drug Charges

Arrests reported by Romeoville Police Department, other agencies, Feb. 27-March 1.

TUESDAY, March 1

Warrant arrests

  • Roberto Benitez-Alvarez, 34, 180 Highpoint, was arrested by Romeoville Police on a warrant, according to Will County records. Bail was set at $2,500.
  • Glenn A. Weaver, 38, 32 Beacon, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police on a warrant, according to police reports. Bail was set at $10,000.

DUI charge

Reynaldo Tello-Martinez, 23, 605 Iola, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on an expired license, failing to give notice of an accident and operating an uninsured vehicle.

 MONDAY, Feb. 28

Drug possession

Christopher L. Brooks, 22, 715 Zachary, was arrested by Will County Police and charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to reports.

 SUNDAY, Feb. 27

Failure to appear

Kristina Keating, 20, 2058 Whitmore Drive, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville Police on a warrant for failure to appear, police said.
