Police Blotter: Nearly $2,000 in Tools Reported Taken in Forestwood Drive Incident

Also, police say jewelry, game consoles and currency swiped in residential burglary on Kingston Drive.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department:

Oct. 18: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Emery. Unknown person(s) took a car stereo, side mirror, jack and jumper cables from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a residence. Estimated cost of the items taken is $480. Time: 5:10 a.m.

Oct. 18: A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Eaton Avenue. A wallet, cash and identification cards were taken by unknown person(s) from a vehicle that was parked in a driveway. Estimated cost of the missing items is $158. Time: 7:25 a.m.

Oct. 20: A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of Sunflower Court. Two television monitors were taken by unknown person(s) from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated cost of the missing items is $100. Time: 10:14 a.m.

Oct. 21: A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 0-100 block of Forestwood Drive. Numerous tools were taken by unknown person(s) from several vehicles that were parked in the business’ parking lot. Estimated cost of the missing items is $1,940. Time: 8:03 a.m.

Oct. 22: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of Kent. Unknown person(s) threw a bottle at the the window of a residence causing the window to break. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $150. Time: 3:10 a.m.

Oct. 23: A residential burglary was reported in the 500 block of Kingston. Unknown person(s) took jewelry, various game consoles and currency. Estimated cost of the items is $969. Time: 4:23 p.m.
