Police Blotter: Motorist Charged with DUI, Driving on Sidewalk

June 29
Traffic charges
- Jesus Solis, 29, 1411 Nicholson St., Joliet, was arrested at Route 53 and Montrose Drive and charged with improper lane use and driving without a valid license, according to a police report.
- Victor Santa Cruz, 18, 22163 W. Plymouth Court, Plainfield, was arrested at Normantown and Weber Road and charged with reckless driving, speeding, failure to reduce speed and improper lane use, police said.
- Jose Alcatraz, 34, 409 Haller, Romeoville, was arrested at Dalhart and Cornoa and charged with driving without a license, no insurance and speeding, police said.

Richard Francis, 20, 222 Hickory, Jonliet, was arrested at Normantown Road and Geneva and charged with speeding, driving with an expired registration, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper use of registration, according to police.

Clayton Anderson, 44, 1374 Highpoint, Romeoville, was arrested at Highpoint Drive and Wespark Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on the sidewalk and illegal transportation of alcohol.
June 25Failure to yield
Diego Cortez, 19, 216 Murphy Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at Hickory and Murphy Drive and charged with driving on a revoked license and failure to yield, police said.
June 24Driving without a license
Mayra Baudista, 27, 1624 Fiddyment, Romeoville, was arrested at Route 53 and Route 7 and charged with driving without a valid license, according to police.
June 23Drunken driving arrest
Mark Rodriguez, 33. 3118 Nantucket Drive, Joliet, was arrested in the 1300 block of Normantown Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving an uninsured vehicle and expired registration, police said.
