Police Blotter: Marijuana, Resisting Arrest and Retail Theft

Wednesday

Pot arrest

Denzel P. Calloway, 21, of the 0-100 block of Rockledge, Romeoville, was arrested by and charged with manufacture/delivery of 10-30 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, and taken to the Will County jail, police said.

Man charged with theft

Paul Castey, 60, of the 1400 block of South Tripp Avenue, Chicago, was arrested by Romeoville police, charged with retail theft and taken to the Will County jail, police said.

Resisting an officer

Keith J. Simmons, 20, of the 200 block of South Oak Creek, Romeoville, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police on a charge of resisting a peace officer, police said.

Failure to appear

Andrew M. Banaski, 20, of the 3900 block of Hennepin, Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police on a warrant for failure to appear in court, according to booking records. Bail was set at $500.
