Police Blotter: Man Charged with Battery, Screeching Tires

Feb. 1

Battery, resisting arrest

Barry J. Jackson, 26, of the 500 block of Scott Lane, was arrested at 10:53 p.m. in the 500 block of Scott Lane and charged with battery, resisting arrest, squealing/screeching tires and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said.

Feb. 2

No license, speeding

Sandra Aguirre, 19, of the 200 block of Murphy, Romeoville, was arrested at 8:02 a.m. at 135th Street and Poplar Boulevard and charged with driving without a license and speeding in a school zone, according to police.

DUI arrest

Fairouz Fizari, 20, of the 200 block of Linden, Romeoville, was arrested at 2:18 .m. at Weber Road and Normantown and charged with DUI, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, underage consumption of alcohol and speeding, police said.

Feb. 6

Driving on a revoked license

Shelly Adler, 41, of the 7500 block of Townsend Boulevard, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:06 p.m. at Weber and Remington and charged with driving on a revoked license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Feb. 7

Traffic arrests

Ignacio Diaz-Rodriguez, 48, of the 900 block of Brassfield Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:53 a.m. at Normantown and Crossroads Parkway and charged with driving on an invalid license and expired registration, police said.

Oscar Chaidez, 35, of the 700 block of Union, Romeoville, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. at Belmont and Avalon and charged with driving with a suspended license and expired registration, according to police.

Feb. 11

No license, speeding

Jose Llanas, 35, of the 100 block of Park Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:11 a.m. at Dalhart and Corona and charged with driving without a license and insurance, speeding and improper lighting, police said.

Speeding, warrant

Tommy Quinn, 31, of the 300 block of Brighton Lane, Jacksonville, Illinois, was arrested at 4:04 a.m. at 135th and Poplar on an in-state warrant and charged with speeding, according to police.

Feb. 12

Pot arrest

Jonathon Ronchetti, 21, of the 1500 block of Hugh Street, Coal City, was arrested at 3:22 p.m. at Route 53 and University Parkway and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment, police said.

Feb. 13

Theft arrest

Allison Byrne, 21, of the 200 block of Coral Reef Court, Romeoville, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. in the 200 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.
