Police Blotter: DUIs, Underage Drinking

Arrests reported by the Romeoville Police Department, April 3-8.

FRIDAY, April 8

DUI arrest

Beverly Harding, 56, 41 Abbeywood Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at Normantown Road and Geneva and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

April 6

Traffic charges

  • Jeffery Wasielewski, 35, 3528 Pandola Ave., Joliet, was arrested at Normantown and Weber roads and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license, disobeying a traffic sign and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to the police report.
  • Kelvyn Guerrero, 19, 42 Harmony Lane, Romeoville, was arrested at Weber and Renwick roads and charged with driving without a license, hit and run and failure to yield, police said.
  • Raul Lagunas, 23, 2234 Sawyer, Chicago, was arrested at Route 53 and 135th Street and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license, driving without insurance and driving without lights, police said.

Frank Pirozzoli, 51, 16343 W. 135thSt., Lemont, was arrested in the 200 block of Romeo Road and charged with battery, according to police.

Retail theft

Two 16-year-olds were arrested in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Underage consumption

Sam Schottenloher, 20, 222 Hickory Ave., Romeoville, was arrested at Belmont and Hamrick and charged with underage consumption of alcohol, police said.

April 3

DUI arrest

Michael Mosqueda, 33, 5229 S. Archer Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Romeo Road and Poplar Drive and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper passing, violating a traffic sign and improper lane use, police said.
