Police Blotter: DUI, Possession of Cannabis & Retail Theft Arrests
Also, police report an incident of illegal transportation of alcohol near the intersection of Route 53 and Romeo Road.
The following arrests were made by the Romeoville Police Department:
Oct. 11: Jonathan Adams, 24, 1310 Brentwood, Joliet, was charged with speeding, obstructed view and possession of cannabis at Joliet Road, north of Route 53.
Oct. 11: Anthony James, 25, 124 Arizona, Joliet, was charged with possession of cannabis at Joliet Road, north of Route 53.

Oct. 19: Brandon Alexander, 33, 14041 S. Oregon Drive, Plainfield, was charged with DUI and no insurance in the 0-100 block of South Weber Road.
Oct. 19: Arturas Tomas, 49, 10515 Fitzsimmons Drive, Palos Park, was charged with DUI, hit-and-run, failure to reduce speed and improper lane use at Weber Road at Highpoint Drive.

Oct. 21: Alyssa Sykora, 20, 2915 Boone Court, Joliet, was charged with retail theft in the 400 block of South Weber Road.
Oct. 22: Jose Leon, 34, 301 Jackson, Joliet, was charged with no valid DL, illegal transport of alcohol and no rear registration light at Route 53 at Romeo Road.
Oct. 22: Joseph Zavala, 63, 922 Otis Ave., Rockdale, was charged with speed and DL not on person at Route 53, south of Taylor Road.
