Police Blotter: DUI, Criminal Damage, No License and No Insurance Charges

Arrests made by the Romeoville Police Department and other police agencies.

Manuel Angeles-Tapia, 32, 1596 Sunflower, Romeoville, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Oct. 31 on charges of driving with no license and driving 1 to 10 miles above the limit.

Chad A. Selk, 23, 405 Dalhart, Romeoville, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Oct. 31 on three warrants for failure to appear.

Michelle Allen, 26, 418 Farmbrook Court, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 6:05 p.m. Oct. 20 at Route 53 and Normantown Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, no insurance, improper turn, expired registration and failure to use turn signal.

Nicole Wardian, 32, 57 Freesia Court, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 2 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 0 to 100 block of Freesia Drive and charged with criminal damage to property.

Alfredo Sanchez-Melendez, 42, 401 Walden Court, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 8:10 a.m. Oct. 21 at Dalhart and Normantown Road and charged with no valid driver's license, no insurance and disobeying a traffic signal.

Quinton McCottrell, 29, 417 N. Broadway, Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 11:55 p.m. Oct. 21 at Route 53 and Airport Road and charged with driving while license suspended and failure to dim headlights.

Elliott Allen, 23, 1427 Englewood Ave., Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 2:35 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 1200 block of West Normantown Road and charged with driving while license revoked and disobeying a traffic sign and on an in-state warrant.

Daniel Mehmel, 32, 1007 N. Ridge Ave., Arlington Heights, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 3:45 p.m. Oct. 22 at Independence Boulevard and Rock Road and charged with driving while license suspended.
