Police Blotter: Driver's License, DUI, Theft Busts

Lamont Alexander, 39, 7945 S. State St., Chicago, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 8:05 a.m. Dec. 5 at Highpoint Drive and Weber Road and charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Whitney Edwards, 23, 503 Pico St., Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 2:15 p.m. Dec. 5 at Normantown and Weber roads and charged with driving while license suspended, traffic sign violation and obstructing identification.

Martha Gonzalez, 40, 12921 S. Oakdale Court, Plainfield, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 10:10 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 0 to 100 block of Pinnacle Drive and charged with no driver's license and speeding.

Maria Ortiz, 41, 223 McKool Ave., Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 6 p.m. Dec. 6 at Route 53 and Taylor Road and charged with no driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper turn at intersection.

Makira McDaniel, 19, 1154 Manor Court, Crest Hill, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 10:35 p.m. Dec. 6 at Renwick Road and Route 53 and charged with no driver's license and failure to reduce speed.

Kevin Lhotack, 19, 2058 Whitmore Drive, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at Wedgewood Circle and Whitmore Drive and charged with driving while license suspended.

Daniel Wolzen, 28, 560 Belmont Drive, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 6:35 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft.

Ceferino Valois, 24, 2338 W. Cullerton, Chicago, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 5:25 a.m. Dec. 7 on Southcreek Parkway, south of Taylor Road, and charged with no valid driver's license, tinted license plate cover and unauthorized lighting.

Alejandra Coapango, 31, 137 SE Circle, Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about1:40 a.m. Dec. 8 at Route 53 and 135th Street and charged with driving under the influence, speeding, no insurance, no valid driver's license and traffic sign violation.

Joel Rocha-Chavez, 38, 12357 S. Ashland Ave., Calumet Park, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 6:20 a.m. Dec. 8 on Route 53, north of Airport Road, on charges of no valid driver's license and improper registration lighting.

Dameon Mason, 20, 402 Oberweis Ave., Aurora, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 10:05 a.m. Dec. 8 at Budler Road and Weslake Parkway on charges of driving while license suspended and disobeying a stop sign.

Diana Escobedo, 29, 453 Greentree Lane, Bolingbrook, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 10:10 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft.

Noe Lopez-Jimenez, 52, 460 Seminole Lane, Bolingbrook, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 6:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at Southcreek and Taylor Road and charged with no driver's license and traffic signal violation.
