Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Warrant Arrests

Arrests reported by Romeoville police, other agencies, May 6-7.

Monday

Warrant arrest

Rakeem M. Roberts, 21, of the 1100 block of Maggie Lane, Romeoville, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police on warrants for failure to appear in court on misdemeanor charges, police said. Bail was set at $9,400.

Domestic battery charges

Anthony C. Mercado, 27, of the 0-100 block of Freesia, Romeoville, was arrested by Illinois State Police on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery and taken to the Will County jail, police said.

Warrants

Alejandro Flores, 20, of the 900 block of Ontario, Romeoville, was arrested by on warrants for failure to appear in court and taken to the Will County jail, police said.

Battery, marijuana arrests

Omar A. Suleman, 19, of the 400 block of Claire, Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police, charged with domestic battery and taken to the Will County jail. Mohammad A. Suleman, 24, of the same address, was also arrested and charged with illegal possesion of 30 to 500 grams of cannabis.
